Gwangju Busking WorldCup 2026 Open Call
Applications are now open for the 2026 Gwangju Busking WorldCup, an international live music competition welcoming musicians aged 19 and over from anywhere in the world. The festival is looking for artists ready to present live performance videos and compete for a place among the selected finalist and Busking Fringe teams.
Selected teams receive the opportunity to perform in front of an international audience and industry professionals as part of one of Korea’s most visible busking-focused music events.

Selected teams may receive:
- Accommodation support for finalist teams.
- Performance opportunities through Busking Fringe street shows.
- Promotion via the Gwangju Busking WorldCup website and social channels.
- Support for music distribution for eligible teams.
- Airfare support for selected overseas finalist teams.
Application requirements:
- One live performance video submitted as a YouTube URL.
- Video duration of up to 5 minutes.
- Original and cover songs are both permitted.
- The uploaded YouTube video must include the hashtag #GwangjuBuskingWorldCup.
